Seefried Industrial Properties to Develop 1.6 Million SF Center in Hogansville
Hogansville, GA - July 1, 2025 - Seefried Industrial Properties, a privately held industrial real estate developer based in Atlanta, Georgia, is planning the development of a new 1.6 million-square-foot Amazon center in Troup County. The planned facility, which is anticipated to launch in 2027, will be Amazon's third sortation center in the state of Georgia.

Located along Highway 54/E. Main Street near Bass Cross Road, the facility will serve as a critical node in Amazon's national logistics network. The Hogansville location offers exceptional access to key infrastructure, including direct connectivity to Interstate 85, proximity to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, and a strategic position for serving customers throughout Georgia and the broader Southeastern region.
Amazon employees at the more than 1.6 million square-foot facility will sort orders by final destination and consolidate them onto trucks for faster delivery. Employees will also work alongside innovative technology, allowing them to learn new skills and helping create a more efficient process to meet customer demand.
The Conlan Company serves as the general contractor. AECOM is the project architect, and Eberly & Associates is the civil engineer.
The facility reflects Seefried's continued success in delivering large-scale, build-to-suit logistics facilities tailored to the evolving needs of the world’s leading e-commerce companies.
