Seefried Develops a Second Build-to-Suit for The Home Depot

Tolleson, Phoenix, Arizona, October 1, 2009 -
Seefried Industrial Properties, Inc. will shortly begin construction on a second build-to-suit for the Home Depot.  The 466,700 SF Rapid Deployment Center will service Home Depot retail outlets in the Arizona Region and is part of a larger program at the Home Depot to improve supply chain; making it easier for stores to keep the right products in stock when customers need them.

Home Depot signed a 20-year lease and will create up to 350 new jobs.  The tri-docked facility will be in a very accessible location, just south of I-10 and the Loop 101 interchange just 10 miles west of downtown Phoenix in the city of Tolleson

Seefried and USAA are in joint-venture to develop the project.  The scheduled completion date is August of 2010.  Seefried and USAA are also currently developing a Home Depot RDC facility in Topeka, Kansas.  Lance Ross of Ross Property Advisors represented Home Depot in the lease transaction.
